A Christmas Concert
Please join our annual Christmas Concert on Friday December 5, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
This warm and welcoming afternoon features a special performance by members of the VSO. We also have a special guests vocalist Sharon McIntee Birrell, known for her rich tone and classic holiday repertoire. As well as special guest Alice Antranikan, a professional opera singer and choir leader of Amaryllis Singing Group of the South Granville Seniors Centre. Additional performers may be added as the event approaches. Enjoy festive music in a relaxed setting, with refreshments.
This fundraiser directly supports the Centre’s year round programs, social activities, wellness offerings, and community outreach for older adults across Vancouver. One of our fundraising goals is to raise enough to sponsor a senior for a full year, helping ensure they can access connection, learning, and support when they need it most.
Tickets are $10 for non members and $5 for members. Bring two friends or family members and get a free entrance. Call or drop by to book early! Tickets will sell out quickly for this wonderful Christmas Concert!
If you would like to make a donation, The South Granville Seniors Centre is a registered charity. Donations $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt.

After discussion in October, we will share what book(s) each of us have selected for November’s meeting on Newfoundland and Labrador. November we will share what we have learned, and hopefully come prepared with our choice of what we will be reading about Nova Scotia for the next meeting, working our way across the country.
