Many disharmonies in the body are directly related to vitamin and mineral deficiencies and are also due to choosing foods that may harm your health. Join naturopathic medical students, who are excited to present information on how to improve your diet and nutrition to optimize health and feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Attendees will also be able to enjoy sampling delicious recipes.

Flu Clinic
Sign up for your flu shot now, space is limited! Receiving a flu shot is a great way to prevent or decrease the severity of the flu this upcoming winter. Pneumococcal vaccines are also available. Free for seniors (65 +), persons with chronic disease, and caregivers.

Falls Prevention: How to Improve Your Safety Outdoors
The slippery season is fast approaching! A fall can be devastating and it is important to learn some strategies to make the winter months safer. You may have attended our recent Falls Prevention presentation on exercises and home safety to prevent falls. This month UBC medical students, Meghan and Chelsea, will be discussing how to prevent falls outside your home. Topics will range from choosing proper footwear to safe stair climbing. If you missed the last presentation, no need to worry—they will also review exercises and home safety measure that help to prevent falls. They would also love to hear your suggestions and address your concerns about falls. Enjoy this fun and interactive session!
