Health Information and Discussion Sessions

Income Tax Assistance The South Granville Seniors Centre offers income tax assistance to low income seniors from March through to the end of April. Our professional volunteers will help you get the most from your tax return. Times will vary, please check Our Times newsletter for a current services synopsis. By donation, suggested donation of $10.

Island Hearing Services The South Granville Seniors Centre offers hearing clinics to our members at various times throughout the year. Hearing testing, as well as hearing aid maintenance and repair is offered by trained professionals. Times will vary, please refer to “Our Times” newsletter for a current services synopsis. No cost

Massage Therapy Students from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy offer relaxing one-hour massages at the unbeatable price of $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Our massage appointments are reserved for seniors (55+).

Pro-Bono Civil and Family Law Clinics
The South Granville Seniors Centre in collaboration with Access Justice offers professional pro-bono advice on civil and family law issues. Appointments are necessary, please call the Centre at 604.732.0812 to book. Various Thursdays, 2-4pm, No cost. Please refer to “Our Times” newsletter for a current services synopsis.

ESL Program This service offers Spanish speaking seniors an opportunity to practice English in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Wednesdays, 11am-12:30pm, No cost

Flu Clinic The South Granville Seniors Centre occasionally offers flu clinics to its members. These clinics are offered during specific times of the year. Please refer to the current services synopsis in “Our Times” newsletter.

Foot Care Clinic Held on the last Wednesday of every month, the South Granville Seniors Centre offers professional foot care. Appointments are necessary, call the Centre at 604.732.0812 to book. Last Wednesday of each month, Cost $16.00 (not covered by MSP).

Hair Care Our professional hair dresser volunteers her services to us every Thursday. Appointments are necessary, please call the Centre at 604.732.0812 to book. Thursdays, 10am-12pm, Cost $5.00 (tips for our hard working volunteer are encouraged).
